Join "Hands Across the Sand" - Worldwide, Sat June 26



Tens of thousands of people who support clean energy and oppose offshore drilling are expected to participate in more than 700 Hands Across the Sand events this Saturday, June 26.

The events are open to everyone - no RSVP required!

Events will take place in all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, and more than 20 countries, beginning in Auckland, New Zealand and work its way across global time zones finishing on the North Shore of Kauai, Hawaii.

Hands Across The (Florida) Sand :: Sat Feb 13

On Saturday, February 13, residents of Florida will flock to their beaches and join hands, forming lines in the sand against oil drilling.

Hands Across the Sand is organizing the February 13th events. To get involved go here.

The basics:

STEP 1 - Go to the beach at 1:00 PM Eastern/12:00 PM Central Time on Saturday, February 13th, for one hour, rain or shine.

STEP 2 - At 1:30 PM EST/12:30 PM CST, join hands for 10 minutes forming lines in the sand against oil drilling in our coastal waters.

STEP 3 - Leave only your footprints.
