The video was filmed at Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as Tathagata Tsal, near Rabong (Ravangla) in South Sikkim district, Sikkim, India.

The statue was named the Tathagata Tsal Buddha statue by His Holiness the Dalai Lama who later consecrated the Buddha statute in 2013, the year the one hundred twenty eight foot high hammered copper statue was completed.

"Today, the team of Kagyu Monlam led by Lama Chodrak visited the village. In the presence of a village head and a local Bikkhu, we distributed customised sheets to 150 families and we are happy that they can welcome the monsoon rain with a big smile. The beneficiaries of this project are families of Jagan Manjhi, Indra Devi, Shanti Devi, Panpa Devi, Shela Devi, Jagath Manjhi, Rakesh Manjhi, and a total of 150 families.

Birthday Celebration at Karma Triyana Dharmachakra
The North American seat of His Holiness the Gyalwang Karmapa is Karma Triyana Dharmachakra in Woodstock, New York. Each year the Dharma center celebrates His Holiness the Gyalwang Karmapa's birthday.
The program included a morning puja for His Holiness the Gyalwang Karmapa's health, longevity, and vibrant dharma activity. Karma Triyana Dharmachakra prayed especially for essential workers, first responders, health care workers, and those who have died in the epidemic. Lama Karma Drodhul, president of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, said, "We want to dedicate merit especially to those who have passed away because of this illness."
