In addition to the photography exhibition and sale, the event will include a private screening of Emmett's new 80-minute film Jack Johnson "En Concert."
Neil Halstead of Brushfire Records will play a special acoustic performance as a bonus.
I love Neil Halstead! He joined Jack Johnson on the 2008 Tour, performing at a handful of the August dates.

Neil has been wonderful to the Surfrider Foundation. Check out this Surfrider Music Outreach Program blog post for more info about Neil's generosity towards Surfrider.

Jack, Neil, and a few other Brushfire Records artists will be performing at the Byron Bay (Australia) Blues Festival this spring. Then according to Brushfire's Twitter handle, Neil, Zee Avi and Matt Costa will be playing some shows. Jack's only 2010 dates are his 2 sets at the Byron Bay Blues Fest.
While doing the research for this post I stumbled upon a few videos here of Emmett talking about the greening of the music industry. Brushfire is super green - awesome record label:)
Here's an interview with Jack where he talks about why he brought nonprofits like Surfrider and HeadCount on tour with him in 2008.
UPDATE: Review of the night's events here on the Spinner website.
