Watch Dharma Teachings for Students and Young Adults on YouTube

Flowering Dharma, an NGO in India, offered a free thirty-day online course on Philosophy, Psychology, and Modern Science from April 25-May 25, 2020.

Online Course on Philosophy, Psychology, and Modern Science

Short video teachings by Geshe Lhakdor and Geshe Dorji Damdul were uploaded to the Flowering Dharma Facebook page. Enrolled students were encouraged to leave comments on the videos.

The course was offered with support from Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Although the course has concluded it is still possible to benefit from the course. Flowering Dharma has been uploading those videos to YouTube. Most of the videos are under eight minutes long making them easy to watch.

In the second video of the course Geshe Lhakdor taught, "Your happiness and your suffering is in your hand. Do not cheat yourself."

PANORAMA: A month-long certificate course

Tibet House New Delhi has offered a month-long certificate course on Buddhist Philosophy, Psychology and Science three times. The course, attended by students from Flowering Dharma, has been held in person only at Tibet House New Delhi. It was open to any student wishing to attend.

The videos from the 2020 PANORAMA course are available on the Tibet House New Delhi YouTube channel.

Flowering Dharma

"Flowering Dharma was conceived in the year 2009 by the collective efforts of the students from Ladakh studying in various colleges of Delhi University with the aim to keep the sense of community alive in the big city and later grew to accommodate peers from rest of the country and beyond.

"Currently we are based in Raku House which is a century old traditional heritage structure in Leh-Ladakh and our activities and members expands to six regions across the country including Ladakh, Jammu, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh with the plans to bridge pan Himalayan region."
