Advice for Celebrating Saka Dawa from Khen Rinpoche Jangchup Choeden Rinpoche, Geshe Dorji Damdul, and Yangten Rinpoche

Saka Dawa is an annual month-long festival during the fourth Tibetan month celebrating the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of Shakyamuni Buddha.

In 2020, Saka Dawa takes place from May 23 - June 21.

The holiest day of Saka Dawa, Saka Dawa Duchen, is the fifteenth day of the month. In 2020, Saka Dawa Duchen is June 5.
