Saba Gul is the Founder and Executive Director of BLISS, and a recent alumnus of MIT, where she did her BS and MS. An engineer by degree, Saba worked in Silicon Valley prior to BLISS but gave up her life as a technologist to pursue social good. She has also worked in Sri Lanka on affordable solar lighting for Tsunami refugees, and taught entrepreneurship at universities in Africa. Saba was a 2011 Unreasonable Fellow. Her work has been recognized by the US State Department, MIT Technology Review and NBC News, to name a few. She grew up in Lahore, Pakistan.
