ViewChange Film Contest :: Entries due Aug 31.

Link TV, the largest independent TV broadcaster in the country, is working on a new project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. It’s called ViewChange.org, and it’s a next-generation website that uses the power of video to build a case for better global development initiatives.

They're inviting filmmakers to submit five-minute stories about progress being made towards the UN’s Millennium Development Goals for their ViewChange Online Film Contest.

$5,000 cash prize offered for one winner in each category, with a grand prize of $20,000 for one winner. Winners and finalists' films will be nationally broadcast on Link TV and the finalists' films will be showcased at major events in NYC and DC.

Winners will be selected by online viewers, as well as a panel of judges including Danny Glover, Wim Wenders, Gael Garcia Bernal, US Senator Daniel Inouye, and will be announced in October.

Deadline is August 31.

The films that have already been submitted look awesome!
