In 2005 Pontiac ran a sweepstakes called "Catch a G6" - anyone who saw a G6 in a showroom, on the street - anywhere - could snap a photo of the car on their camera phone, and email it to win@catchag6.com, before March 18th.
A randomly selected entry won $1 million.
At this point, camera phones were still a relatively new phenomenon, and marketers were busy integrating them into campaigns.
