A Trace Of The Sun: Volunteering In Japan

Sara Bareilles put this 29 minute documentary out today. It speaks so strongly to the power of volunteering. Thank you, Sara, bandmates and crew.

As Sara mentioned in the film, they were volunteering with the organization All Hands Volunteers. I took this from the organization's website:

All Hands Volunteers is a US-based, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, that provides hands-on assistance to survivors of natural disasters around the world, with maximum impact and minimum bureaucracy.

Our Mission: To enable volunteers to provide assistance to communities affected by natural disasters.
Our Vision: To be recognized as the most effective organization at providing opportunities for volunteers to help survivors of natural disasters.

You can volunteer with them, too. Or find local volunteer opportunities through the HandsOn Network here.
