I stand with Planned Parenthood.

Earlier today, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to bar Planned Parenthood from all federal funding for any purpose, whatsoever. That means no funding to Planned Parenthood health centers for birth control, lifesaving cancer screenings, HIV testing, and other essential care.

Cosmopolitan covered it here. Excerpt:

Yes, Planned Parenthood also offers abortions, but that only accounts for three percent of their services. And federal funding of Planned Parenthood does not go towards abortions, only preventative measures.

This afternoon Planned Parenthood circulated this video on Facebook with this note:

We made a highlight reel from the debate last night. It's always the strange bedfellows supporting Planned Parenthood that makes us tear up in the office.

Now isn't the time to give up; the U.S. Senate hasn't voted on this yet. Please stand up for Planned Parenthood by adding your name to Planned Parenthood's open letter addressed to Congress.

Stay up to date here.
