Sign up to be a Citizen Teacher

This reminds me of the Skillshare post that I wrote yest. Same concept, different audience:) Why not sign up with both? Received an email invite to get involved with this org, today:

Citizen Schools expands the learning day, allowing disadvantaged middle school students to benefit from high-quality education even after the regular school day ends. The org is looking for volunteers to serve as Citizen Teachers. Citizen Teachers teach 10-week apprenticeship classes in whatever areas the volunteers are passionate about!

At least for the San Francisco Bay Area, apprenticeships start in mid to late February and go until May. Bay Area partners include middle schools in Daly City, Oakland, Redwood City, and Campbell. If you're outside of SF, then look up your local contact here - programs in MA, NY, NJ, TX, NC, NM and other parts of CA.
