Center for Progressive Leadership Fellowship for Youth :: Washington, DC. Apps Due April 26

The Center for Progressive Leadership's Washington, DC New Leaders Fellowship Program connects talented young people of color, women and people from the LGBTQ community to full-time jobs at leading progressive organizations in Washington DC. Over the course of 5 months, the program provides training, mentorship, coaching and networking to help jump start life-long careers in progressive politics.

CPL New Leaders Fellows work at a variety of progressive political and policy organizations. CPL secures a number of spots for people who have recently started jobs, but also supports leaders in identifying full-time, paid positions at leading progressive organizations in D.C.

Past placements have included Planned Parenthood Federation of America, American Constitution Society for Law and Policy, the DC Project, and the National Hispana Leadership Institute.

Now accepting apps from young people (with less than 2 years of nonprofit experience) who are committed to progressive political change and have demonstrated leadership experience. Apps are due Monday, April 26th.
